QNAP NAS Community Forum

So When I upload my photos they upload all to one folder on my qnap. I tried to organize them and create folders by year and place them there. Then when I started to sync with my qfile app it would upload all the photos all over again. So it doesnt keep an index of what I already uploaded. Is there a way to move the photos automatically by year or to do something that if I look at the folder in my Qnap it doesnt take long to load since I have thousands of pics ? Thanks

I would expect that behaviour. You either need to ensure the folder structure of remote and local are identical, edit the sync settings so that mirroring is off or implement a method of moving files from the synced folders.
