Automatically disconnect a remote volume (ISCSI LUN of another NAS)

Post by bumsdiegeis » Mon Jan 10, 2022 5:10 am

QNAP provides the ability to shut down or restart the server at specified times. However, this is not possible if the server (TS-873A current firmware) is connected to a remote volume - in my case a LUN of a Synology DS718+. As soon as the automatic shutdown is started, it is immediately interrupted with the message ".... disconnect it remotely to prevent data loss". Is there any way to automatically disconnect before the automatic shutdown? That the server is shut down at 03 o'clock at night, I can't do it manually. Thanks for the support
