Hi All,
I just wanted to know of which one of these IP-Storage network performed better in terms of handling high workload:
Using TVS-471:
"QNAP NFS -> NFS Datastore -> Windows Server VM"
"QNAP iSCSI -> VMFS Datastore -> Windows Server VM"
If anyone have tested or experience in the above two IP-Storage network technology, please let me know which one is better ?
Thanks in advance.

So for the network settings on the ESXi I assume that you're using MPIO (Multiple Ethernet Cat6 cables) conenting to the QNAP TVS-671 NAS ?

Yes, using two ports teamed thru switch...
Also thru single cable it has faster responses than NFS...

Thanks mate.vikino wrote:Yes, using two ports teamed thru switch...

So in this case I will keep using the iSCSI rather than using the NFS for the production VMs.
