Citrix XenServer App

Post by stephenjones007 »

Hi, I am just starting to dive into all this server stuff. I am trying to setup a citrix xenserver environment for learning purposes. I have verified my qnap is citrix ready. I have read into the guide here http://files.qnap.com/news/pressresourc ... Server.pdf

My question is where is the xencenter or xenserver app? is there a qkpg for that I need to download?

no this guide is just on how to set up qnap as a iscsi storage target(for a citrix server) ..you would still need a dedicated hardware appliance to run the server on

someone has set up an esxi server via nesting ...as a proof of concept ok .. but not really performant ..what is your nas system ?

Yes, I did thanks. I had 16 gb hanging around and I decided to give it a go and it worked. Where would I download it? so citrix is not a qnap package?
