iscsi and Linux Mint 19.3

Hi All,
I am having trouble getting an iscsi drive stay on my Linux Mint PC(s). I have followed tutorials such as
https://community.linuxmint.com/tutorial/view/1446
and also https://www.tecmint.com/setup-iscsi-tar ... itiator-on
The above tutorials go well and I end up with a disk on my PC that I can read and write to.
The problem is after some days the disk no longer appear on the PC. I can login to the iscsi device via the command line, which is successful, also shows as a connection on QNAP but no drive is available on the PC.
Login to [iface: default, target: iqn.2004-04.com.qnap:tvs-871:iscsi.hpz2002020.f92067, portal: 192.168.0.41,3260] successful.
So far the only solution is to make a new share on the QNAP and connect again with the PC but all data stored previously is lost. Any suggestion about what I'm doing wrong?
NAS is TVS-871 4.4..1.1146
Linux Mint 19.3
