Hard to say..you censored the IP adresses..are they in a routable network?..unclear but if it is a private range, censoring is certainly not needed and makes troubleshooting impossible

also the card is only connected with 2.5GbE ...coulda just used the second 2.5 GbE card for that

sorry to intrude, just wanted to ask my own question since you guys are discussing on this.

uh... i was considering buying another one of these qnapaddon cards. i bought the 2.5gbe addon (installed into nas). but for the 2nd one i thought to get the 10gbe so later in future thats one less thing to worry about if i make that upgrade.

will it work even if i use with a 2.5gbe speed for now? i thought these addons were multi gig so they could support 1/2.5/5/10gbe without issue.

how about the service type? is it normal? the 2.5Gbe show WOL service type, 10Gbe not shown anything

WOL means Wake On LAN ...you can wake the NAS from standby from the internal cards..not the addon card

As you can see the IP ranges are different(not necessarily a bad thing) ...is the device you are trying to reach your NAS from via 10GbE, in that segment ?

yes, the device can communicate via ip 210 segmentation. what makes me confused, i can connect iscsi using adapter 2 ip segmentation(210) which is the segmentation are same with 10GBe, but i cant connect iscsi via 10GBe

can you "service bind" iscsi to the 10GbE adapter perhaps?

Control Panel, Network & File Services, Network Access, Service Binding? I dont have that option myself but dont use iscsi.
