iSCSI - Connecting on server but now showing in disk management

Post by haloway13 »

I used to be able to see the volume in disk management just las week.

The only change I made was to do port trunking on the NAS with a lag aggregation group on the switch.

Would this have had an effect?

I have reconnected providing chaps information. I can connect with other servers with the same effect of it not showing up in disk management.

Not sure exactly what the issue was...

I undid the lag group on the switch and returned the nas to 2 ip addresses.

Then after much consternation resorted to rebooting the NAS.

That did the trick. The iSCSI drives returned to the server.

I will investigate further and report back.
