Creating and presenting XFS LUN ?

I wanted to know how can I prepare and create the iSCSI LUN so my QNAP NAS can support XFS file system?

This is to create the Backup Repository that is immutable as per this article: https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120

I moved this thread to ISCSI and left it open.

Quick side question...what exactly does the QNAP have to do here besides offering the block storage (ISCSI)? The XFS FS is created by whatever ISCSI target, no?

I wonder if there is any specific steps I must follow in order to create the XFS LUN as the best practice, this is using QNAP iSCSI.

Create a LUN on the NAS and then mount that on your target and format the drive (in XFS)
