Now we need double the snapshot space to make iSCSI snapshot usable, and clone a 10TB snapshot take a few days to finish! Not really a practical solution for DR
It shouldn't be difficulty to make an option we can just map an iSCSI snapshot readonly to an iSCSI target for fast data recovery ?
anyway to use iSCSI snapshot directly without clone?

Make sure you always read the sticky .. I have removed the duplicate post from "feature requests" as the sticky in that forum section explains

Re: anyway to use iSCSI snapshot directly without clone?
I found that we can now revert snapshots (source) without clone first, cool
but we still need to clone from snapshot vault (sync from source) before we can actually use the LUN , so for DR, if the source LUN is completely broken, unrecoverable, we still need to clone from snapshot vault first to recover the LUN. Still not practical. If we can convert from snapshot vault to LUN without clone, would make the iSCSI snapshot replica much for useable.
