Hi everyone,
Not sure where to put my iSCSI related questions, doesn't seem to be a section for it. I'll try it here.
While creating a new iSCSI target I cannot select the correct RAID volume. I created to volumes, a RAID 0 of 900GB and a RAID 5 of 2TB.
In the "create new iSCSI target" screen, at the "iSCSI target LUN" section, my RAID 0 volume is selected in the dropdown box. Next to this dropdown box the "free size" is shown. (it really says free size, I guess they mean free space). It shows my free size is 900GB.
Now, when I select my RAID 5 volume, the free size does not change and I cannot create a LUN greater than 900GB. But I should be able to create a LUN of 2TB. Also, I suspect my LUN will be created on the wrong volume (namely my RAID 0).
I allready upgraded to the newest firmware (3.1.1 build815T). Is there a way to create an iSCSI target manually through the linux console?
Or any other solution?

Re: TS809U-RP Creating iSCSI target: can't select correct volume
Wanted to know if this situation is resolved.
I have TS-439 latest firmware and having the same difficulties,
Cant create another iSCSI lun, What am I to tell my CTO, That I chose the wrong BOX to do the most basic STUFF.
We are resellers of your NAS solutions, We sold 20 boxes.
I think that this one is the last.
Very disappointing.

Hi all,
The bug of creating iSCSI Target with multiple volumes has been fixed. In the next firmware release you should not see any problem with it.

Re: TS809U-RP Creating iSCSI target: can't select correct volume
I have the exact same problem, just with two single disks. I have the latest firmware 815T in my 219 Turbo NAS (3.1.1 Build0815).
It worked fine at initialy. But after replacing the second harddisk in the box, I got the problem. When "Free Size" do not change when I select "Single Disk:Drive 2" insted of "Single Disk:Drive 1".
Please suggest a workaround A.S.A.P.

The betaversion 3.1.2 (1001T) solved the issue. Update from 3.1.1 worked fine.
Happy days.
