TS-1677XU-RP with NVMe expansion card

Post by firestream » Fri Apr 12, 2019 10:06 pm

As topic, anyone know whether this model support the PCIe M.2 NVMe expansion card rather than the PCIe M.2 expansion card?

Separately, can we get other brand of PCIe based NVMe ssd and run on this via the PCIe x8 port? The NVMe as qtier and ssd tier shd provide a lot of horsepower with a raid6 7200rpm Sata

thx .. got the info. Just curious how much gain if I planning with the following config
16 x 12TB 7200 NAS Hdisk
QM2-4P-384A with 4 x 1TB NVMe SSD as q-tier.

Use case, image & Document archive in SQL DB.
