QTS 5 for TS453A

Hello,
I'm a little confused on the release of QTS 5 for TS-453A.
I see there is available a Release Candidate, but on the official list of supported devices I don't find TS-453A.
There will be a QTS 5 for it?

you will need to ask qnap..they do not come here (other than preales)

there is a new one due out very soon, if you know where to look you would find it. though this is unofficial until QNAP released news of it to the public.

I'm curious enough to try, but wary enough to realise that if it's not officially announced then maybe there are some issues still to be ironed out for the x53a devices.

I have a TS253A and received the official update for 5.0 and all went well.

I have a TS253A and received the official update for 5.0 and all went well.

Official releases mean nothing tbh. Plenty of official releases have bugs and quite a heavy percentage get removed from release by Qnap without an explanation.

Just expect the unexpected with new firmware releases and you won’t go far wrong.
