Transfer HD in TS-228 to new NAS

Post by kwekey »

My TS-228 NAS failed to start suddenly. If I want to get a new NAS to transfer my HDD x 2 over, which models are recommended?

Thanks for you reply. If I would like to change to another NAS, say Synology, is there any compatible model that I can just simply transfer the HDD over?

no..the internal disks would be deleted and you lose all content

but you should always have backups anyways (a raid is not a backup) with backups you could move to any manufacturer
