TS-473A & Nvidia Quadro P400 GPU with Plex

Hi,

I have installed a Nvidia Quadro P400 GPU in my TS-473A and I thought it was working as it appeared in my Hardware devices and let me set it as Resource Use "QTS" and the Hardware Transcoding was automatically checked. However, when I use my Plex it does not appear to use the GPU as it shows as 0% usage. I have my Plex set for Use Hardware Transcoding when available. I have all recent drivers and Kernel installed. I know it's not currently on the supported list but had heard other Qnap users have had success with it. (Added pictures showing the above) Any ideas?

what does rhe plex info panel say when a client is streaming (with transcoding)

if it says (hw) then it works

Unfortunately, it does not say (hw)

HW transcoding is only supported if you have a PlexPass subscription, so that would be the first thing to verify.

Assuming you have a PlexPass subscription, then I would see this thread for a supported combination of QTS version / Nvidia Drivers/ Plex Version.
