USB drive formatted EXT4 not recognized

Post by ron_jeremy »

TS-219P II running latest 4.3.3.1864

I insert a 1TB USB drive that I formatted EXT4 on my Linux pc (popOS) but the NAS will not recognize the drive. It is not seen in Control Panel > External Devices nor in File Station. What can I do to get this drive recognized? I was hoping to copy almost 500GB data over to the NAS via USB instead of 5MB/s Samba over WiFi.

See attached screenshots for additional info.
