TS-212 Replacement Fan (Again...)

Post by gill_mn »

OK-

Fan is darn near toast (50000 hours MTBF is 5.7 years and this unit is now, well, older than that)...

While people say this or that fan is compatible, I would prefer to get something from QNAP or this forum...

Bottom Line: I need a replacement fan - what can I buy that is 100% compatible/works with TS-212?

Current Specs:
Y.S.Tech Model FD126015MB
DC12V - .16A (seen multiple .14 and .15)
4 wire (yes - it makes a difference)
Thanks!
Gill

There are a few listings for this exact fan model on eBay. ;)

Everything I found on eBay was a 3 Pin… if you find a 4 pin, can you please share that link? Thanks!

Hmm... you're right. Image

I wonder what that 4th wire is for? In your photo, it looks like the blue wire has been added afterward. :'

Yes, I remember that one. Different part number but should do the job.
