@asadulhuq, yes, 2666Mhz DDR4 SODIMMs are backwards compatible with 2400Mhz. Don't worry about the CL19 vs CL17, as those need to be divided by clock speed and will yield very similar numbers that are latency values required by DDR4. However, note that 2666Mhz usually costs more, but the increased speed will not be usable by the TS-251D. So, it is essentially wasted to buy faster. Only 2400Mhz is required.

I have a detailed write up of what RAM to look for here, in case you're interested: viewtopic.php?f=182&t=165535

The Crucial memory is still 100% in my system. No issues. Feel free to upgrade to 8 GB.
I did 16 as well
16GB wow, does the NAS recognize and utilize all 16 GB?
Yes I found 4 cried on Virtual Machine and I play large 50GB + MKV files via Kodi and not much price difference so did it to 16gb

Hi can you post which 2*8 ram did you use on qna ts 251d install and works fine?

Finally I added 2 rams (4GB+4GB) on my TS-251D 2GB model. Now the NAS is working flawlessly.
