UPS "auto-protection" during raid scrub

Post by Martin-R »

Well that happened: power cut, UPS kept the NAS up for 40+ minutes. But the UPS did not go to "auto-protection" even though it's configured for after 20 min.

As the log states it started the RAID scrub, could that be the cause of not going into "auto-protection"?

(power cut was at 00:12, hence the ntp error at 00:19)

As far as I know - no. Scrubbing must not prevent the auto-protection mode.
Check again (unplug AC from UPS) and if issue occurs again, create a support ticket.
