I just bought the TS-h973AX and was curious about buying some NVMe drives. The product description lists U.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 3 x4 SSD but I'm having a hard time finding many options for them. Can you use U.2 NVMe PCIe Gen 4 x4 SSD instead?

Yes, QNAP has Gen 4x4 also on their list .. see here
