TES 1885u redundant power supply problem

Post by RoboticR »

We have a TES1885u storage. It was in production but about a month ago, one of it is power supplies failed ( PSU unit led blinking red). So we moved production data to other storage temporarily. We have ordered 2 brand new power supply and finally, we received them today.

We put a new PSU in its place, and its green led starts blinking but does not turn solid green. We checked out the web management console and it still shows a power supply fault. Attachment fault1.jpg shows it.

Anyway, I checked all forums and learn that there is a configuration in the control panel>hardware>general to activate redundant PSU. Unfortunately in my console, there is no.The attachment missingconfig.jpg shows it.

Can anybody advise me what to do?

Best to open a ticket with QNAP, doubt many people here have worked with the TES units
