I've hs-251+, yesterday I bougth Kinivo BTD-400 Bluetooth 4.0 USB Adapter to use with h2-251.
I've tried to install without success.
Can anyone help me?

I've insert dongle in the usb port, the dongle led is turned on blue, and after nothing.
I've searched device with pc, iphone and mac, but doesn't found.
The usb port is ok, I tried it with keyboard; also the dongle I've tried with pc and work ok.

I don't think qnap supports Bluetooth.

These "generic" Bluetooth dingles are supported to connect Bluetooth speakers - from ie. Music Station or Qmusic.

Note: There is no USB Bluetooth HID emulation software on the NAS ot connct "generic" BT pointers and keyboards.

I need bluetooth to connect remote speaker or iphone, but the my qnap hs-251 doesn't see the bluetooth.
the hs251 doesn't have wifi or bluethooth integrate, both are usable with external usb peripherals.
I choose the usb model in the compatibility list from qnap site

Yes - it has two perfectly performing Gigabit Ethernet interfaces. And you connect wiFi clients to the WLAN router or access points, ... not P2P to a NAS. Still can't see a need for this ...

I'm having a similar issue. I want the bluetooth so I can play Music Station from the NAS and stream it to bluetooth so I can just turn on a wireless speaker in the house whenever I want to listen to music.

All of the ones listed as supported for TS-431+ appear to be Asian-based, and do not show up in Google Shopping, so I don't even know where to find them. Ended up getting an ASUS BT400 but QNAP isn't seeing it. I don't want it for networking, and I don't believe the OP wants it for networking either - we just want to be able to stream music from the NAS to a wireless bluetooth speaker.

Read to me like the QNAP NAS have (just like ie. the RasPI) a problem recognizing the BCM20702 based BT 4.0 USB dongles (ASUS BT-400, most likely the Kinivo BTD-400, too) and fails to bring up HCI mode on it.

Get some dirt cheap Cambridge Silicon Radio BT dongles instead.
