Running web gateway

I would like to run a web gateway or content filter on the Qnap in a virtual machine or a app.
This will allow me to control the web useage on my office network.
Has anyone done this?
Any ideas how it can be done?

have you tried the "Proxy Server" in App Center, or did you want something with more features?

All i want to do is block user from visiting certain sites and also get a automated log of sites and downloads going on i need a web content filter or gateway

Do you know if you can run sophos utm inside of a qnap 421

sorry I thought you had a QNAP that actually supports VM's (when asking about if it could run as a VM)

you need a X86/X64 device for VM's
