TS 569 Pro Firnware reload

Anybody successfully uploaded firmware to a TS-569 as per the instructions in https://wiki.qnap.com/wiki/Firmware_Recovery

When I boot from a DSL USB stick I get a message "Autodetection seems to hang - Please check your computer BIOS"

a few more commands are run but it never brings up the DSL screen

I've tried disabling UEFI and high res graphics

Managed to boot using Puppy linux,then I used DD command to copy over the image file, now I get a QNAP splash screen and welcome to use the Qnap products message but it
just to a linux login prompt.

Any ideas ?

I don't think much more than the linux prompt should appear .. QNAP uses a web frontend for configuration and operation , not the video output

Only after any app that uses the video output (e.g. HD station) was installed, will there be any output on the HDMI

Sorry was having a bit of a brain fade,so preoccupied with Linux

Anyway Qfinder now seeing unit and have updated it to latest firmware
