@Trexx, I want to upgrade my Ryzen nas with ram, and wanted to buy the same ones you had. But where I live, they are called red, black and white kingston fury Hyper X.
I'm unsure what the difference is, can you help?
HyperX Fury Black DDR4 2666MHz 2x16GB (HX426C16FBK2/32)
HyperX Fury White DDR4 2666MHz 2x16GB (HX426C16FWK2/32)
HyperX Fury Red DDR4 2666MHz 2x16GB (HX426C16FRK2/32)
Also, did the NAS perform better with more ram, its said that Ryzen excels with more ram.

trex uses the hyperx fury black 16gx2
dual KIT variant. specifically
I initially went for the hyperx fury black 16gb (8gb x 2). Unfortunately these were the non kit.... they booted up fine, with uptime for a couple of hours, but i later then had a random reboot. i unfortunately did not do a memtest86 or try it on downgraded qts 4.3.6 as i probably prematurely returned it for a replacement, thinking the issue was incompatible ram. Now i suspect the issue wasn't the ram compatibility, but something on QTS 4.4.1 that caused the random reboot (because using my original ram after downgrading to 4.3.6, i no longer had random reboots). But i didn't do the test so i don't know for sure in regards to the hyperx ram compatibility i installed.
For me i'm using 2x8gb (16gb total) crucial (non kit
)
Crucial 8GB DDR4-2666 UDIMM
CT8G4DFS8266
Seems to work fine. although i would recommend going for DUAL kits for better compatibility.

On the crucial and Kingston websites there is a validation/compatibility list for TS-877. I'm not sure for other ram, but at least those 2 for this particular model have a validation list.

@Trexx, any reason you dont use stock ram (8gb) with your black fury set of 32gbs?

Sorry for the late reply. Here is what I ordered.

As for black vs red etc. makes no difference is just the color of the heatsinks.

Thanks, i'm waiting for upgrading with the next 32gb chunk, so in the meantime I thought about putting in the other 8. Unsure if the difference in ram will make an issue.
¨Congratulations on the upgrade!

Just to add to more experience...
Just successfully installed a 32GB Corsair Vengance LPX kit (2x16GB 2666 MHz) in my TVS-1282-i5-16G together with the original 16GB (2x8), no issues detected so far - Dual channel on and all.
Now it's only been running for 5 hours so it's a bit early to conclude anything, but so far so good.
Kit Serial: CMK32GX4M2A2666C16
----
Update: After 2 months of uptime, still no issue. So I would have no issue recommending those. After that I have added another kit so that I now have 64GB installed totally.
