QNAP NAS Community Forum

I have a customer trying to use two Samsung PM861 m.2 sata cards in the QM2-2s10g1 card. They seem to work individually just fine, but when used in a RAID, the cache disables itself on reboot (with subsequent pool unmount/recover required). Anyone had luck using these m.2 cards? Tried to save some money, but its not on the compat list. Always a bit of a risk!

whar kind of raid are you putting the drives ? RAID1?

They have tried both raid 0 and 1. ALso read only, and r/w.
