Having trouble finding the right screws to mount a WD Red 3-1/2 drive in the caddy.
I've got some with the right threads, but the head is too large for the countersink. Sticks out and won't let the caddy slide in.

Re: disk mounting screws
The ones for 3.5 drives have much thinner/smaller heads that standard machine screws.
And I don't need 96 of them (strange quantity), especially for $31

Re: disk mounting screws
QNAp sent me a load foc a while back. Good luck but maybe..
Otherwise I have increased the countersink on the caddy for some.
Final choice - take some out of other drives - a few people manage with 2 screws.

Re: disk mounting screws
They're going to send me a "kit" of screws for the ts-453 (16 screws?) I only have to pay shipping. Pretty nice of them.

Re: disk mounting screws
Yup. They get a lot of stick sometimes, but I always find them really helpful whenever I reach out to them.
