Hi,
Anyone use Tripp Lite UPS connect with QNAP? This is not in the compatible list. Just want to know if there is power outage then this NAS can detect it to have safe shutdown through USB cable. I just bought a new QNAP TS-453Be.

Re: Tripp Lite UPS
QNAP uses this driver to communicate with usb UPS https://networkupstools.org/docs/man/usbhid-ups.html
You can check in this table https://networkupstools.org/stable-hcl.html what driver your UPS requires in NUT. If it's usbhid-ups probably it is supported by QNAP. If it requires another driver probably you need to connect the ups to another device (such as a RasPI) and QNAP will recognize it.
In my case, even though my UPS is supported by QNAP, I prefer to have it connected to my router (running OpenWrt).
