Basic User - CLAMAV - Where is it?

Post by steddym »

I have looked through these forums and whilst there are answers, I am not a command line user, so stumped on how to dio this functionality.

Clamav is not in the App Center
It is mentioned in the page for anti virus but the only one in the Appcentre is MacFee which you have to pay for, but having two Nas boxes I'm loath to pay for two licences when Clam is OK'ish and free.
Can anyone help on how to install clamav using the normal update tool that does firmware updates etc?
Oh, both Qnap's are totally up to date

Thanks in advance

Greetings,
ClamAV is baked into QTS. Might be helpful if you told us what boxes you had and what FW you are running? McAfee is optional.
