So I did not fully appreciate the difference between M.2 NVMe and M.2 SATA. It looks like we can't search for "M.2" because it's too common.
Am I correct in thinking that a M.2 SSD that has both B and M keys will work in the on-board M.2 slots of the NAS? To be clear, I am NOT talking about using one of the QNAP expansion cards.

that nas only support m2 sata ..so make sure you get sata and not nvme here
