TS-119P II - Drive capacity

Post by MatthewL »

I have a TS-119P II can anyone confirm how big drive the NAS will support? My current drive has failed so looking to replace.

I am looking at 2TB but if it can support 4TB I would prefer to put that in.

I am a WD drive user any recommendations of which to use as I am reading conflicting articles on ones and the part codes listed for drives I cannot seem to find said drive.

Many thanks

4TB are fine for old kirkwood NAS (I use 4TB drives in my 419p+)

for a single drive NAS, it really doesn't matter ..even SMR should work ok .. so get whatever NAS rated drive you can get

Cheers for that, I don't even have NAS rated drive in it, at the time I wasn't aware there was different ones but I am now as time goes on. It's getting on a few years now but will serve the purpose I have for it.
