Upgrading RAM for TVS-672x
I’m looking at getting an TVS-672x and I’m going to want more RAM but I’m not sure if I absolutely need to buy RAM from QNAP or a special kind of Ram or will any DDR4 SO-DIMM will do?

Thanks - seems I wasn't configured to receive a notification when a reply is posted, so just saw this now.
I already ordered two CT16G4SFD832A and hope they are compatible...
Confused: the TVS-x72X doesn't support ECC memory?

Re: Upgrading RAM for TVS-672x
Have been unable to confirm: TVS-872XT has been hanging intermittently. QNAP said to remove unsupported RAM so I've been testing using Stock RAM that came with unit, but still hanging intermittently. Until cause is identified and resolved, I'm unable to test and confirm that CT16G4SFD832A doesn't also cause intermittent hanging.

Re: Upgrading RAM for TVS-672x
I upgraded my TVS-672X with 2x32 GB blocks from Kingston and it works without a glitch (2 weeks of testing). The only thing I noticed was the first boot after upgrading took a bit longer than usual and the Control Panel showed 64GB installed with 0 GB available for roughly 5-6 minutes; afterwards everything ok.
Kingston's compatibility search can be accessed here: https://www.kingston.com/en/memory
The original 8 GB block was from Transcend
Kingston ValueRAM 32GB 2666MHz DDR4 NonECC CL19 SODIMM 2Rx8 1.2V KVR26S19D8/32
