Hello,
2 questions on possible upgrades for the 853U:
- can I go over 8GB RAM?
- is it possible to replace the Celeron with a faster CPU with the same socket?
Thanks!

Re: TS-853U RAM & CPU upgrades
I tried a Crucial RAM CT2KIT102464BF160B 16GB Kit (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MHz CL11 kit but it didn't work... maybe there are different revisions for the motherboards...

Re: TS-853U RAM & CPU upgrades
Besides a spontaneous LPC death or your device (fixable with a 100Ohm resistor) .. not much comes to mind (even more so as it worked before the RAM swap, so something happened there)
