Does any USB3 to 2.5GBit Adapter work on QNAP?

I just got the Cable Creation USB3 to 2.5GBit Adapter and it works perfectly on my 2017 iMac and gets a IP.
Only on my TS-453A its not recognized at all.
QNAP states on the website just FW needs to be 4.3.6 or newer - I have 4.5.4 (1741) installed - and USB3.2Gen1 Ports - which the TS-453A has.

QNAP sells their own 5GBit Adapter QNA-UC5G1T with AQuantia chipset, so now I wonder if only that chipset is supported and they just forgot to mention that on the website and any product informations...

Said that I checked for other 2.5GBit adapters but its seems they are all made with the Realtek chipset - and thus I fear none of them will work at all.

Does anyone has such an adapter working on a QNAP, if yes which model? If no 2.5GBit s working, hows experience with the 5GBit adapters?
