TS-210-UK

Post by kengledow »

Hi all

So got a one of these devices from a car boot sale, all good and working, but it states that in the device manager, and firmware its a ts219 and its running 4.3.3 code, yet putting the serial number into the QNAP portal it definitely is a 210-UK.

Im only using it a drive to build an internal website, any pointers greatly received.

will teach me to google better, i thought 219 was a lot newer.. ! the question was more along the lines of would it be better running the earlier 4.2.x code train, than the 4.3.x as with any thing newer code is normally more processor intensive,

Shouldn't matter ..both devices would be OK backup targets ...but will not get feature firmware updates anymore

I have a 419p+ as a backup NAS..works for over 10 years 24/7 solid...very happy
