All other devices run without problems with Gbit speed
Several cable tested (CAT5e and CAT6) always the same result
Several FW (1.1.3,1.1.5,2.0.1) tested always the same result

My QNAP System:
QNAP TS-209
2xSAMSUNG 750GB Raid 1

Hello clifi,

I use the GS605, too, but with TS-109. I have no problems. The QNAP NASs are configured as autonegotiation. Perhabs it helps you if you refer to this topic and especially QNAPAndy's post:
http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=3273#p15158 .
Perhabs this topic is interesting for you too:
http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=2 ... umbo+frame
So please check whether all device who are running in Gbit-mode have the same MTU size...
As you tested with the cables - do you also linked your TS-209 with a Cat5e or higher to the GS605?
Hope I could help. greetings
TS-119 // 3.3.8 build 1217T

Hi clifi,

wow that's strange - so a mechanical problem?! That is really seldom, I guess. So next unit will be better ;).

Hello clifi,

just wanted to know whether you have a new unit and everthing is mechanically fine this time. Software is getting more and more better esp. stable. QNAP works really hard on all the reproducible issues, I guess.
