I have a pair of subnets (both connected to a TS-453DU-RP QNAP server):
- Primary subnet: 10.0.0.0/24 (1GbE)
- Private subnet: 10.0.1.0/24 (10GbE)
That is the QNAP has two NICs, with one connected to the Primary subnet and the other connected to the Private subnet.
On the Private subnet is a Linux box (10.0.1.2) that needs to be accessible on the Primary subnet. For example, at 10.0.0.5.
Is there a way to map the Linux box out to the Primary subnet? The primary purpose is to `ssh` in to the Linux box from the Primary network.
I've been researching VLANs and Virtual Switches, but they don't seem to be right answer to this problem.
Thank you.

Re: Mapping a device between subnets
It's set on your switch.
If it is unmanageable switch then you are out of luck.

Re: Mapping a device between subnets
The networks does not share a switch, they share a QNAP. The QNAP has two NICs, one connected to each network. Since the QNAP is connected to each, it would make sense for it to handle mapping/connection between the networks. Am I looking at it incorrectly?
