I had the same problem, in may case the external hard drive un my computer where I sync with the NAS was unadvertently disconnected from my PC.
After reconnecting the drive everything worked again. But the error message was strange.
My regards,

Yes, I got the same message. Since it was the next morning after a Qsync update the night before, I assumed it was a problem with the QNAP access, but it wasn't. In my case the problem was with Bitlocker on the drive containing the paired folder on my computer. Once I had entered the Bitlocker password to gain access to it, it all worked fine.

Hi everyone.
I have a NAS that is used in my company and we all use Qsync to keep the files up to date in every computer. Today I came to work and my Qsync shows the same error as @joerg_cjpo.
All other users are ok. I have my user in one desktop and one laptop and the error appears on both, so the problemm is with the user.
I know that this post is almoust one year old, but did anyone find a solution?
If not, can anyone "point the direction" of where I can get one of these assistance tickets I've read in other posts?
