QNAP 251d - Only 10-22 mpbs.

Post by forzence »

Hi Guys,

I'm having issues trying to reach the highest speeds while transferring files from my pc to the NAS. I have a 2.5Gbps card and the NAS has 1gbps. Using cat6 cable and still low speeds.

Can someone help?

Thanks

What is the NAS setup ? (disks)... is it tested with large or small files (or synthetic benchmark)

Sure.

NAS has just 2 RED PLUS 4TB each in raid 0. CAT 6 cable connected to my netgear nighthawk router. All wired no wifi. Transferring my movies (owned) to my plex server each is the only use for it. I had a My Cloud Home and was getting 110mbps+ while doing the same xfer.

Attaching another pic after giving it an static IP and same speeds.

is the raid still syncing ? (might take a while for the full thing to finish the striping)

Not that I'm aware of.

Everything seems to be perfect.

@UPDATE

I literally just unplugged and ethernet cable and plug back in and now is solid 108-110 mbps.

Thanks a lot for your help @dolbyman
