Error 0x80070057 WebDAV folder

Hi guys,

Hope all of you are well.

Unfortunately, I'm having a problem with my QNAP NAS model TS-231P3.

It started recently when I did the last firmware update (version 5.0.0.2055). When I access my folders via WebDAV, I can see and open all files and copy them to my computer but when I want to create a new folder or copy a file from my computer to the NAS it shows an error with the code 0x80070057: incorrect parameter.

My OS are Windows 10 and Windows 11.

I've searched everywhere for a solution, including here, but with no success.

Is there anyone with this problem?

I've opened a ticket regarding my problem and QNAP Support send my the following reply:

"Thank you for contacting QNAP Support.

Appreciate the provided details. Seems like our R&D department was able to reproduce this problem with another model with CPU ARM
I have referred your case to our R&D team. I'll keep you updated when we have a solution or if we need more information.

Have you tried 3rd part app like Raidrive to mount the WebDAV resource?

You can downgrade to the previous version (5.0.0.1986 build 20220324) so as not to have that error

I've tested the Raidrive software as they recommended and it solved the problem.

I will use the software until they have a new firmware update available that allows me to avoid third party softwares.

Hope this information helps others with the same problem.

this is good i have the same issue so i downgraded my FW to (5.0.0.1986 build 20220324) and its all working now.
