Is my QXG-10G1T broken

Post by spikemixture »

This card is in a TVS 1282 on Firmware 5.0.02131
It was connecting previously and I have made 101 changes since then
I see it in Network & Virtual Switch section and says connected.
The 10GBE switch has both lights flashing in the 10G colour.
Resource Monitor Shows activity buy looks like only receiving and "sent" is 0
Information shows I think the right info .

The IP of the 1GB is 192.168.1.82
And a second 1gb is 192.168.1.83
The 10GBE is 192.168.1.182.
I cannot ping the 10gbe card but can the other 2 from a windows machine.

Is it Broken or is it a setting ?? :S

Any QFirewall installed?

Make sure only one card is connected for a given subnet (disconnect the other 1GbE ports)

Are you running port trucking / bonding?

If subnetmask is 255.255.255.0 then 1GB and 10GB adresses are in same subnet!
Separate the interfaces, i.e. use 192.168.2.x for the 10GB interfaces.

THANKS DM, and the others that replied... :D

After some "customization" of the Qfirewall I can see the 10gbe card ...
