Unable to access my Qnap Locally

Post by Consulmac »

Hi, I can see the Qnap from my Qnap Finder and from my MacBook Pro thru AFP and SMB but it seems that even this I have the right password I can't get to load the network folders. The only way I can get to the Qnap is thru Qlink.to/xxxx.

There must but some networking setting that was modified somehow thru the virtual adapter..

I also noticed that now UPNP doesn't work anymore so perhaps that could be the cause?

thx for your help really appreciated!

Where does upnp come into play? .. I hope not to forward any ports from WAN to NAS (see all the malware threads for why this is a horrible idea)

What is the NAS model and firmware used ?
