What's the best way how to copy 56TB of data from old TS-653B with old HDDs to new TS-873A with new HDDs?
Connect them directly with some cable?
Or by connecting TS-653B with 2 network cables and TS-873A also with 2 network cables to the same TP-Link Archer AX6000 router?

Connect them via 1GbE (or upgrade both to faster speeds via expansion cards) and do the transfer

Using two cables does not double the speed!

But, what if you used really thick cables? Would that help?

Only if you could fix the funnel at the IN end and push very hard! Then at the OUT end you will see increasing speed.

How about solid single crystal cables? They work great for audiophiles

No, you are wrong! These are good for audio, but for networking, data and such stuff you need the quad wired dynamic moonshine-flow cables.PeterT1959 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 07, 2022 9:49 am How about solid single crystal cables? They work great for audiophiles

Yes, they are more expensive, but never got one which was breaking/interrupting any traffic.
