Windows Move

Post by meqwerty »

After the update to 4.3.3, when i move files from my local HDD to the QNAP 470Pro, the file transfer freezes the nas during the transfer. The nas cannot be shut down from the interface or from the button select.

anyone else encountering this? file copy to file station works ok.

Re-apply the (same or current) firmware image again, ideally using the most verbose process -> http://wiki.qnap.com/wiki/Manually_Updating_Firmware

Plenty of reasons to keep the firmware current.

Hard say as there is no information on how the process was run, if this HDD is plugged to the the NAS USB port, what file system, ...

the HDD is not an external hdd. It is being copied into a share folder i created on my data volume, on my raid 5.. I didnt change the file system so it would be the default.
