ShowSymlinks in ftp

Post by yabbah »

Hi, I tried edit /mnt/HDA_ROOT/.config/proftpd.conf which where the only place I found it on. And I set ShowSymlinks on there. But after restarting the daemon the config i revert to its original state with ShowSymlinks off. :(
Any idea how to solve it?

QNAP does intentionally not support and allow following symlinks in SMB, AFP, FTP, File Station, or any Stations.

A possible approach is dynamically updating the file, and then use a /etc/init.d/ftp.sh reconfig

Didn't work anyway. The symlink is shown in ftp, but cant be accessed.
