FileStation 5 won't show any background tasks (QTS 4.3.3)

Hi everyone,

Since updating my ts-251a to QTS 4.3.3 the FileStation 5 won't show any background tasks. The FileStation does work, I mean, it will copy/move files, but there is no indication of the progress. If I open the background tasks list via clicking the wrench icon the list is blank, even though the FileStation is copying the files I requested.

It also doesn't "auto-refresh" after coping moving files to a folder (it did in the past).

Anyone has any ideias of what might be going on?

For no good reason other than because I could, I decided to restart the Qnap multiple times to see if it would fix the problem. After 3 restarts (4 if you count the time I tried restating before posting to the forum) the FileStation is now displaying the background tasks again.

I hope this can be useful to/if someone encounters the same issue.

I'm having this same problem on a 431P, I have restarted the unit at least once and still not working.

What browser are you running?
Browser may be the issue. Try Chrome.

Same problem... after 3 years??????? (QTS 4.5.1.1465)
Definitelly NOT a browser issue - tried Safari/Chrome/Firefox. Invested 3K EUR into 872XT... moved from Synology just last week... and I'm VERY much disappointed that such a trivial task is NOT working properly.
How can we be sure that much more complex issues are handled properely???
In ten years NEVER had anything like that on Synology...
Will wait for some time (still have 2 yrs warranty ahead)... and IF such issues will persist - unit will go back.
