Since my service provider 'upgraded' my router a few days ago, I have been unable to access my Shared Folders in a TS-239 through Windows 10 PC.
Windows 10 can see my NAS in the network folder, double clicking brings up the shared folders, double clicking on Shared Folder eventually brings up an error message and ultimately no access.
I can access the Webgui and under System Connection logs, it shows my PC as logged in 'ok' via Samba.
I cannot map any shared folders in the NAS via Windows 10.
I have trawled the web for hours trying to fathom the problem, without success.
I'm assuming that the router is the problem here, allocating a static IP address to my NAS has not worked. Oh, yes, the router admin page confirms my NAS connected via ethernet!
My Windows 10 PC connects to my network via wireless and have followed much advice on the properties of my wireless adaptor, all to no avail.
I don't profess to be anywhere near an expert on these matters, but any advice would be most welcome.
If I need to be more specific with my problem please shout

Re: Router problem
Hello dolbyman,
Yes, old and new router have same dhcp range.
On old router, my nas did not have a fixed IP.
My new router, the nas did not have a fixed IP. Whilst trying to overcome my connection problem, I assigned my nas a static IP, no change, so I reverted to 'non fixed'.

Re: Router problem
see if there is a workgroup setting on the router..make it the same as the one on yoir computer(s)
I can't imagine that it is a smb version issue if all that was changed was the router
are you accessing the shares via ip or nasname ?

Re: Router problem
No workgroup setting on router dolbyman. Cannot access shares via ip or nasname. It's crazy, I can see the shared folders but not access their contents.
I've run out of ideas completely

No Microsoft Networking Host Access configured on the shared folder(s) in question?
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.
