Some problems with Qnap files

Post by MiguelF »

Hello.

We are a small company that today, started to use a qnap nas to store our work, one of my colleages its complaining that the psd files she is working on are suddenly dissapearing from the qnap folder, on top of that we try to copy these files and when we delte those copies they seem to delete but if you press f5 of windows explorer they reappear in a corrupted state, they cannot be opened with photoshop anymore.

Any idea why this is happening?

We are using windows pc to connect to qnap shared folders.

Our QNAP:

QNAP Model: TS-431P2
Firmware: Versión 4.3.6.0895 (2019/03/28)

Best regards.

Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.
