After a recent upgrade I like lots of others it seems lost guest access.
I logged a case but after waiting 1 week cant wait so came looking here, a big thanks to BrutisNZ fro his fix detailed at viewtopic.php?f=185&t=149124&start=30#p719235
Being used to working on linux it didnt worry me applying the changes to get me up and going whilst I await an official fix

This was fixed in the latest beta release.
Use the forum search feature before posting.
Use RAID and external backups. RAID will protect you from disk failure, keep your system running, and data accessible while the disk is replaced, and the RAID rebuilt. Backups will allow you to recover data that is lost or corrupted, or from system failure. One does not replace the other.

It may have been fixed for many but i am still unable to access my NAS from my windows explore even after the update.

What looks like worked for me is i added a user to my NAS with the same user name and password of my windows log in and it is now working.
