Qsync Database - Refresh

Post by mgibbo »

Hi,

i'm having some unusual behaviour with Qsync and wondering if there is a way to be able to 'reset' the qsync database and force the qysnc application to re-create all indexes again? I have a number of users connected to the QNAP via qsync so it's important that nothing major changes. I remember reading about this in the past (that you can refresh/reset the database so that all indexes are established again).

any assistance in this matter would be great.

Simply uninstalling the application from clients and stopping on your NAS?
Simpler to delete and recreate the folder pairs though.
With a mirror sync set up you should not be at risk from loosing your data.
