File count and size discrepancy

Post by pe88lz85 »

Hey all,

Trying to upload contents of a USB drive (directly attached) to my NAS after installing 2 new Segate NAS drives. First time I tried to do it all in one go in file station and for some reason it only copied 1.8TB of almost 4TB. Second try I have started transferring One folder from the drive and the File size and file amount calculation is more than what file station says its copying? Why is it not copying all the files?

Sorry if already been explained but I did a number of searches and couldn't quite understand what was exactly happening.
